The Kinross Community Council Newsletter is published by Kinross Newsletter Ltd. Any surpluses made by the Newsletter are transferred to a charitable company and given away to local good causes in the form of grants.

The charitable company is called Kinross Community Council Newsletter Limited (KCCNL) and is charity number SC040913.

Applications for grants will be considered at two meetings per year. The deadlines for receipt of applications are: 31 March and 30 September.

Examples of previous recipients of the grants have included organisations like Kinross First Responders, for new equipment, Kinross Curling Club for 350th anniversary events, KLEO, towards the design and print of festival brochures, Milnathort Nursery for a trip to Vane Farm, the Kinross-shire Partnership for the kinross.cc website.
